The team included Hull legend Dean Windass, Andrew Stead the club’s Partnership Executive and Medical officer Rob Price and a couple of other officials.

This will be Hull City's maiden tour of Kenya and the match has built an insurmountable amount of excitement and anticipation from the local football fans.

“It’s good to be back in Kenya and I’m really looking forward to the game on Sunday. Though some of the players might be tired from the season, I have no doubt that they will put on a good show and we’re in for a great game of football,” Windass said.

Gor were granted this once in a lifetime opportunity to play a match against an English side for the second time after their landmark game against Everton FC in Tanzania last year, this time on home soil after they emerged victorious over rivals AFC Leopards in a penalty shootout at the Afraha Stadium in Nakuru on Labour Day.

The rest of the delegation from Hull and the first team players arrive in the country on Friday.
