Hundreds of mourners are gathered at the Consolata Shrine in Nairobi to pay tribute to slain lawyer Willie Kimani and his two colleagues brutally murdered two weeks ago.
Experienced human rights lawyer, Kimani and his client Josephat Mwenda and a taxi driver Joseph Muiruri went missing two weeks ago after a court session in Mavoko and their bodies recovered in Oldonyo Sabuk river on June 1st in Machakos County.
The three are said to have been kidnapped then brutally murdered in a case which has caused outrage in the country.
Police officers suspected to be behind the killings are in custody as investigations into the shocking murders continue.
