[Photo|Jeff Koinange]Immediate Sotik MP Joyce Laboso went to history books, after she ousted one of the political bigwigs in the country, Isaac Ruto, to become the second Bomet County governor, after the August 8 polls. However, Mbita MP Millie Odhiambo, says she admires the Chama Cha Mashinani (CCM), party leader, and the fifth National Super Alliance (Nasa) co-principal.According to Odhiambo, Ruto stands by his principles, regardless of the outcome or consequences. She said she was not amused when he conceded defeat and handed over power to Laboso, during her inauguration on August 22, since Ruto keeps his word.According to her, Ruto would continue remaining relevant in politics and would likely come out more stronger."I admire Isaac Ruto because of his principles," Odhiambo revealed, Wednesday.During JKL show, Laboso also indicated that Ruto was a good person that anyone can work with in terms of developing the people's agenda. She said she would not immediately sack or retain county staff employed under Ruto's government, but would first conduct an audit, to see which staff does what, their pay, and qualifications.Laboso further said she admired the newly elected Kitui and Kirinyaga Governors Charity Ngilu and Anne Waiguru, respectively, saying she looks forward to working with them. The three are the only first women elected governors in the country.
