Speaking to the reporter on Monday, Chae said that the information indicating she is a dormant member in parliament is a political propaganda used by her political competitors to dampen her popularity ahead of the 2017 general elections.

“I know they will tell the local people like that but I am an active member, I am a parliamentary committee member of Joint Committee on Parliamentary Broadcasting and Library and I do participate actively in parliament, let them stop lying to the mamas who have known me right from the word go up to now,” said Chae.

She also raised concern over the way the political competitors are using the table banking project and other projects which she has initiated in the county to empower women, are being misinterpreted by other politicians.

“We have been fighting as women reps to be given our kitty for around three years, we have been given we have it now and we are working, it is only God who will reward us positively and the people of Nyamira are seeing what we are doing for them,” she went on.

Chae also accused her competitors of lacking good strategic plans to help the young girls suffering across the county, further urging them to focus on development for now.
