The Interior CS, Joseph Nkaissery has given a stern warning to foreigners carrying out illegal businesses in the country.

The CS warned that any foreigner found ‘tainting the country’s image’ would have their citizenship revoked immediately.

‘‘My ministry will not hesitate to revoke the citizenship of individuals giving us a bad name,’’ stated Nkaissery.

Nkaissery pointed out that the National Assembly Committee on National Security and Administration issued 2,939 non-Kenyans with citizenship between August 2013 and this month.
