Senator Chris obure has revealed that he is so disappointed with how the Kisii county leadership led by Governor James Ongwae is fairing more so in terms of development.
Speaking to the repoter on Saturday in Kisii, Obure said that the county leadership has failed to fulfill the promises to the residents who elected them.
Therefore, he said that he is very much disappointed on how the management of Kisii county under the leadership of Governor Ongwae is working towards achieving development.
"I feel disappointed since nothing has been done which has transformed us, there is much that is needed so that we can achieve proper develop and move this county forward," Obure said.
In the health sector, Obure said that health facilities are in bad condition and residents are forced to buy medicine after visiting them meaning that the health centers have no drugs although they have been budgeted for.
“I was shocked finding residents in a health center showing me descriptions of drugs they have been told to purchase meaning that our health centers have no drugs,” noted Obure.
He also noted that roads are so pathetic in various wards which are mandated to be constructed by the county government.
Obure challenged the MCAs to come out clear and explain to residents what is going on without any form of contradiction.
According to him, the governor has failed by not fulfilling his promises leaving the blame to the MCA's who are accused by the residents.
"I would like the MCA's to come out clear and inform residents what is going on and who has failed," said Obure.
