Kiambu Governor has dismissed those plotting for his impeachment saying he will not be cowardice.
Addressing residents at Githaruru shopping center in Gatundu South on Wednesday, Kabogo termed those plotting for his removal as selfish and driven by political witch-hunt. The Governor noted that he will focus on developing Kiambu and has no interest in what politicians think of him.
“I will not be perturbed or moved by people who have no other things to do but to engage in selfish politics,” he said.
Governor Kabogo cautioned MPs and MCAs against using politics to cause rifts among Kiambu people. Kabogo added that he has devoted his time and county resources to boost the living standards of the people.
He called on leaders in the county to support his government saying he has a vision for Kiambu people. Kabogo at the same time asked residents to be extra vigilant and report acts of crime to the police.
He said security matters are serious and that criminals should be given time to cause havoc and disrupt peace. Kabogo added that his government will support security strategies being implemented by the national government.
