Governor Jack Ranguma has disapproved his critics by putting the record straight that he is in ODM party to stay.
Ranguma dismissed reports linking him to another party a head of the coming elections in 2017.
He said he has not formed any party noting that he is a life member of the ODM party.
“I cannot form a party secretly, it is in the public domain that I have a party registered. Go check and see if Ranguma has registered any party,” he said.
He said he sees no threat that can make him form another party.
Speaking to the press in Kisumu on Monday, Ranguma said those spreading the propaganda just want to taint his name as the country heads to the next poll.
Ranguma said he sends monthly contribution to ODM headquarters and should not be wished away.
“I am an ODM party member, go check records and see my contributions. Nobody can be a member of the party better than the other,” he said.
He said ODM party leader Raila Odinga had made it clear that no candidate should hang on his coat as party nominations beckon.
Ranguma further announced that loyalty to the party should not be pegged on how loud one is over party issues.
