Kisii Women Representative Mary Otara says she has no intention to ditch Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) any time soon.
Otara, who was elected in 2013 on ODM ticket, could be facing a major test to reclaim her seat after sources indicated that nominated Senator Janet Ong'era could be going for Women Representative seat.
Ong'era, a close ally of ODM leader Raila odinga, served as the party's chief executive prior to 2013 elections.
"This is politics and is all about numbers. I am ready to face my competitors in ODM primaries. I believe I will carry the day and its upon them to come and face me," she said.
Otara added: "Some busybodies are waiting for me to bow out but that can never be the case. Let us face each other and the people shall make decision."
