Former Kitutu Masaba MP Hon Walter Nyambati has asked his competitors to stop tarnishing his name, and instead work towards helping county residents.
Nyambati has also quashed claims that he is a political project for the current Nyamira County Governor John Nyagarama, together with Mwancha Okioma, who has also declared his interest in the gubernatorial seat.
Nyambati has been accused of being Nyagarama's project alongside Okioma, claims that Nyambati has dismissed saying that he only wants to serve the people of Nyamira county.
Nyambati, speaking to this reporter said that he increased the bursary kitty of Kitutu Masaba constituency from Sh3 million to Sh17 million.
"I increased the bursary from Sh3 million to Sh17 million for the benefit of our children, but Bosire has not used the bursary effectively,” Nyambati said.
“Claims that I laid sign posts of the existing projects are not true, I laid posts to show where the projects will be carried out and the projects have since then been awarded cash and Hon Bosire should tell the people where the cash for the said projects is since I left office while the allocations have been done,“ Nyambati said.
"Bosire is busy 'constructing' ODM and not serving the people of Kitutu Masaba," Nyambati added.
