Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka on Friday used ODM National Governing Council to rebuke leaders who have openly questioned his loyalty.
Ever since skipping Raila Odinga's inauguration, Kalonzo has been fighting criticism from a section of NASA leaders.
"There is need to have mutual respect within us. It is unfair for someone to go out and ridicule a principal of a coalition openly," he said.
The former VP added: "I am not a traitor of a watermelon as some call me. In my entire life, I have never been a political coward."
In his recent press statements, Kalonzo has been giving inconsistent excuses with regard to his decision to skip, even at some point claiming that he was under house arrest.
At the function, Raila dismissed claims of NASA splitting and instead, he accused media for allegedly spearheading propaganda.
