Following the recent threats from Wiper Party to expel the party's rebels, Mwingi North MP John Munuve has come clear of the threats saying that he is more than ready for a by-election if the Mwingi North seat is declared vacant adding that he will clinch the seat once again without Wiper in the equation.
Speaking a day after the Wiper party leaders met to discuss the fate of the rebels, Munuve noted that the party's leader Kalonzo ought to know that his constituents are much comfortable with Munuve's leadership than they ever were when Kalonzo was the Member of parliament.
Munuve further accused Kalonzo of having neglected the people of Mwingi North during his time and reminded him that with or without his support, Wiper would lose unopposed in the region.
“Residents of Mwingi North have for the last 30 years been electing a king who they could not talk to because he had even moved to Machakos county. But today they have a leader who they can access. They call me and we discuss issues affecting them,” he said.
