Nakuru County Assembly Speaker, Susan Kihika has said she will not pull out of the Nakuru senator's race.
She said she is already to face off other male aspirants who have expressed interest in the post.
Speaking at a church service in White House estate, Nakuru Town East sub-county, Kihika said she was among the very first aspirants to express interests in the senatorial race and she cannot compromise.
"If I'm not wrong, I was the first person to make it clear that I shall vie for the senatorial post in 2017. I want to confirm that I'm still going to battle out with other aspirants to salvage this great county," Kihika said.
She lamented the poor performance record by the incumbent whom she said has failed miserably and should be sent packing.
"Many have been asking where the senator they elected went. I too am unaware of his whereabouts either in the Senate Assembly or in the county. I won't imitate that character once you elect me in this post," she added.
