The patient known as Evans Abuyu from Kondele arrived at the hospital on a motorbike while in a critical condition suffering from Cholera.

According to Jim Abuyu, his brother, the patient was experiencing severe diarrhoea with a pale, milky appearance.

However, after the doctor attended to him for a few minutes, he ruled the patient out, saying he wouldn't manage to survive.

“The doctor said that my brother's blood vessels were not visible. For that case, it was difficult to add water to his body,” added Jim.

The drama then started after the doctor gave cleaners a directive to prepare to take the man to the mortuary. Additionally, he called a local radio station to report the incident of Cholera outbreak.

The patient caused a stir after he stood on his feet and tried to strangle the doctor claiming that he was not dead.

The uproar brought activities in the hospital to a standstill, forcing the man to be transported to a different medical room.
