The Balambala legislator, Abdikadir Aden Omar, has denied the allegations that he is warming up to decamp to the ruling Jubilee coalition.
Reacting to speculations circulating in his constituency, Aden said the rumours were being spread by his political rivals who were keen to confuse the electorate for their own political benefits.
Omar, who is the current ODM organising secretary, was quoted by the Star newspaper affirming that he is fully in ODM party and the Cord opposition. He further noted that it is only Raila Odinga who is in a good position to transform the country's politics.
“I fully believe and subscribe to the ODM and the Cord manifestos. Raila Odinga is the only redeemer of Kenyan politics,” he said.
Just two weeks ago, the Balambala MP had skipped the Cord rally in the North Eastern region that was attended by Raila Odinga. He had also been spotted at the Afraha Stadium in Nakuru County during the Madaraka Day celebrations that were presided by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
His long-time critics argue that his boycott of the rally without any formal apology was a clear indicator he is heading to join the Jubilee party.
