Opposition leader Raila Odinga has said people should not think that he is a fool after he made peace with his 2017 rival President Uhuru Kenyatta through the famous handshake.
Raila has also met several other leaders in what has become a 'handshake season'.
Among those he has met is retired Presidents Mwai Kibaki and Daniel Moi.
Speaking in Shinyalu on Saturday during the burial of area MP Justus Kizito's mother, Raila said he is scheming for NASA to take over government in 2022.
“You must play politics using your brains, I am preparing the way for us to take over the government in 2022,” Raila said.
He also revealed that he is not planning to ditch NASA.
“People should stop calling me a traitor over the handshake, I have no intentions of leaving NASA,” he said.
Several Jubilee leaders among them senator Kindiki Kithure have been crying foul over Raila's new found love with Kenyatta.
Kindiki warned that Raila might be planning to rock Jubilee from inside and stop Deputy President William Ruto from succeeding President Kenyatta in 2022 according to Jubilee's power game.
