National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale says he is ready to face International Criminal Court should someone recommend his prosecution in the Hague based court.
Duale, who is facing hate speech allegations following an explosive audio in which he purportedly called for eviction of Kamba community from Garissa, said he has been in the Hague based Court for over 39 times.
On Sunday, Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka threatened to write for ICC to investigate the outspoken MP should the government agencies fail to prosecute him.
“We will not be intimidated by people who want to take us back there. I know the International Court in and out because I have been there 39 times. I know the law and prosecutors,’ he said during Mark Too’s burial on Monday.
“I am ready to face the prosecutors at any time. They went out and made a clip to incriminate me over what I don’t know but I have told the CID to investigate the clip," added Daule.
A section of leaders from across the country have challenged responsible government agencies to arrest and prosecute the Garissa Township MP.
