Dagoretti North MP Simba Arati has paid tribute to the Gusii community for continued support in his political endeavors.
The youthful MP has been fighting battles on behalf of the ODM leader Raila Odinga within and outside Nairobi.
And on Sunday when he was crowned Gusii spokesperson at Bobasi, he said he is ready to die for the community to salvage it from 'slavery'.
"I will die on my feet as long as my people will not live on their knees. Yes, I amy be young but I am ready to be guided as I take over," he said in a rousing speech.
He further said: "I am happy that I have seen people from all Gusii region and I am not interested to be Kisii governor. I am not a coward and I was born once and will die oncebecause to get positive results, pain must be inflicted to some of us.
Further, the MP urged local leaders to work along with him to spur the community economically as they fight to put the name of Gusii people on top of the country's politics.
