Bomariba ward MCA Protus Moindi has said that he will not be afraid if he loses his seat in 2017 polls.
He said that if residents of Bomariba will vote another candidate for the seat he will have no option rather than respecting the decision.
Addressing locals at Gesero trading center, Moindi noted that aspirants seeking the seat should compete him without fear.
"I will have no objection if you voters will elect another leader. Rotational leadership is what we want. In 2017 I will be on the ballot and if I lose to anyone, I will pack and go to give room for another leader to lead our beloved people in the ward," he said.
He defended his development record since he joined politics and elected as the MCA in 2013.
"My first time to join politics and I winning the seat was a blessing. The projects I have initiated for the first term in office is a big progress. Voters will have their choice in 2017. Any aspirant seeking the seat is free to seek support from locals to compete me in the ballot come 2017,' he added.
