For months now, Matiang'i has been accused of defying the law of the law with the deportation of Miguna Miguna heightening pressure to quit.

But at Kebirichi in Nyamira on Friday, Matiang'i said he was strictly guided with the law in his execution of duties.

"People have been accusing me of working outside the confines of the law but that is purely malice and propaganda.

"If found guilty of such I will not hesitate to bow out of the office. I am waiting the day someone will come with concrete allegations against me," he said.

Early this week, several youths allied to Jubilee accused local leaders of wrongly targeting Matiang'i and thronged streets of Kisii Town to express their displeasure.

Also, the CS has been linked with current woes facing Chief Justice David Maraga, who is persistently under attack from Jubilee administration.
