Kalonzo, who spoke at the Bomas of Kenya where opposition leaders had met to cement the formation of the National Super Alliance said for the sake of maintaining peace and economically transforming the country, he is willing to sacrifice his presidential bid again.

He said the opposition must roll up their sleeves, not for show, but to ensure that the country is successful.

Kalonzo said he loves Kenya more.

"But I also expect a similar thing to happen with other leaders in the coalition," he said.

The Wiper leader said he has walked the path of rigged elections and would not want to see the same happen.

"This time we mean business," he said as quoted by the Star.

"We are in a contest where we shall accept nothing less than a free, fair election. The true change that has evaded the country is now here. This change calls for extreme sacrifice. We must put all our cards on the table."

The opposition, as currently constituted is comprised of ODM's Raila Odinga, Kalonzo, Ford Kenya's Moses Wetangula and ANC's Musalia Mudavadi.
