According to him, Jubilee Government was meant to accomodate everyone no matter their political affiliations.

"I don't have a problem with the opposition as long as they respect the rule of law," he said, adding that he was tough because of the office he was holding.

In the recent past Dr Matiang'i has come under sharp criticim from opposition leaders for ordering the deportation of self- proclaimed NASA general Miguna Miguna.

However,  the CS argued that he only clashes with those who are not ready to respect leaders in power.

Recently, Embakassi East MP Babu Owino found himself in the receiving end after he verbally attacked Dr Matiang'i.

Last year, during President Uhuru Kenyatta's last tour ahead of the repeat presidential elections, Dr Matiang'i vowed to ensure that he deals with anyone who will not respect the rule of law once the election was over.
