Kuresoi North constituency legislator Moses Cheboi has dismissed claims doing rounds that he has ditched KANU for the new political outfit Jubilee Party.

There have been speculations that the lawmaker had dumped the party which sponsored him to parliament.

Speaking to this writer on Tuesday, the legislator dismissed the claims as 'rumours'.

"I am still a member of KANU and I am loyal to my party. I have not thought of shifting to another party," he said.

However, declined to comment whether he will defend his seat on a Kanu ticket.

Kemboi was elected in 2013 general election through the Kenya's oldest political vehicles ticket.
