Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri has dismissed Nakuru County MPs' move to ouster him as their chairman.
A ddressing journalist in Nakuru town on Wednesday Kimani said that they are removing him from the position due to his stand on various matters in Nakuru County.
Kimani who had travelled to Senegal when he was removed has maintained that he is still the chairman of the 11 MPs despite their decision.
He said that the move was politically motivated and had been carried out by those opposed to his criticism to Nakuru Governor Kinuthia Mbugua.
"These are people who follow governor everywhere expecting kick backs. Others are envious of my work,” said Ngunjiri adding that he has managed to have deputy president visit his constituency twice.
Kimani termed the MPs as loosers whom he said have got no chance in 2017 elections.
At the same time Kimani defended National Authority Campaign Aganist Drugs (NACADA) Chairman John Mututho's quest for Nakuru County governorship saying that it is his constitutional right.
"Kinuthia's time as governor is slowly coming to an end and he ought not to feel bad or threatened when criticised," said Ngunjiri
