When he stood up to address his supporters at Upper Hill, NASA principal Raila Odinga was seething with unbridled anger.

Raila who has been out of the country for two weeks landed on Kenyan soil today.

Many Kenyans turned out to welcome him but everything did not proceed smoothly.

Odinga supporters engaged in confrontations with the police which saw teargas cannisters lobbed at Odinga's convoy.

''Young people, I am very angry today... I am very angry with this young man called Uhuru and his Ruto... Instead of giving me a warm reception, he sends police to lob teargas at him...'' Odinga said to cheering supporters.
