This comes after a much publicised spat between the governor and the president when the latter was launching various development projects at the Coast.

Joho differed with Uhuru when he criticised the government for taking credit for what  he said was a project started by the World bank when Jubilee was not yet in power.

Joho clarified his remarks in an interview at a local radio station.

“I did not mention Uhuru in my speech. I did not tell him that as a person. I said the Jubilee government should show us what projects they have done in Mombasa since they came to power,” he said.

Joho intimated that he will not shy away from telling the truth.
