The outspoken MP and a close confident of ODM party leader Raila Odinga has been vocal both in the National Assembly as well as championing the economic rights and unity among Kenyans.

On Monday during the issuance of a cheque at Mosobeti Primary School, Bosire recalled the warm reception during his recent visit to Marakwet region.

“I believe I can be president of this country if all Kenyans embrace the love and affection I saw in Marakwet. The reception was nice and I can see getting backing from the entire country,” he said.

“If I can get such overwhelming support from outside my backyard, I believe that someday I will go for the top seat and emerge victorious. Kenyan politics is changing and so are the people. We can be what we want,” he added.

The lawmaker also insisted that he will not be the holder of the parliamentary seat forever and insisted that time will come when he will leave and proceed to another avenue.

“That confirms that I will not be MP forever. Those opposing me should give me ample time and when the right time comes, I will move to the next step and try my luck elsewhere,” he said.
