Gem MP Jakoyo Midiwo has dismissed media reports that he will support the re-election bid of Siaya Governor Cornel Rasanga.

Midiwo said he has not reconciled with the governor over their political differences.

“Those peddling rumours that I have reconciled with Rasanga are daydreamers,” he said in Gem.

“I do not agree with the governor’s style of leadership and I don’t plan to back his re-election bid,” he added.

The ODM lawmaker said he will support either Rarieda MP Nicholas Gumbo or William Oduol, who lost to Rasanga in 2013 gubernatorial polls.
