Popular comedian Jalang'o has laughed off demands by singer Size 8 that he apologises after bashing Kenyan gospel singers.
Size 8's demands came after Jalang'o attacked those in the gospel industry saying there was nothing of substance that could identify their music with the gospel."Jalang’o should not judge people with a few songs because ours is the biggest music industry, and I believe every song has a message. Everyone sings differently, thus it would be wrong to judge them with their content," she said."I think the problem is the understanding by people and not the song or perhaps the delivery. But from someone who reads the word, they will understand what every artiste means with their song," she added. But Jalang'o has maintained his stand and insisted that nobody should expect an apology from him.“I’m under fire, they are up in arms. But I will never apologise to Size 8 or anyone. Size 8 has come out saying I should not judge people, I should fast, and I don’t know what," he said."She talked and talked. And you know Size 8 is a very good friend of mine, very good friend. I don’t know why she herself would come out strongly to condemn me," added Jalang'o.
