Uasin Gishu governor Jackson Mandago has asked his competitors to stop wasting time spreading falsehoods that he is planing to join Kanu.

There has been rumors that Mandago could move out of Jubilee party in fear of bungled nominations slated for April 20.

However, the governor said he was not worried by the propaganda being spread by his opponents, to confuse his supporters.

"In 2013 I had nothing but I sticked with URP, now my quiver is full and my bows well oiled there is no way I will bolt out of Jubilee," Mandago said.

Several candidates have declared their interest to vie for the Uasin Gishu gubernatorial seat on a Jubilee party ticket.

Many of them believe the party primaries will be a two-horse-race between incumbent Mandago and bilionare businessman Bundotich Zedekiah Kiprotich popularly referred to as Buzeki.
