The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party has unleashed yet another blistering attack on the Jubilee government.
Speaking when he hosted ODM aspirants from the six Coast counties on Saturday in a meeting that was attended by the party leader Raila Odinga, Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho claimed that the Jubilee regime is the most corrupt in the post-independent Kenya.
He added that he cannot stand another five years of a Uhuru Kenyatta-led government.
While challenging the aspirants to support Raia's presidential bid in the August poll, Joho warned them against disparaging talk which he says will handicap their quest to unseat President Kenyatta.
"We have no room for negative energy. We only want positive vibe. If you have any issue, follow the right channel. But for now, we only have one enemy which is Jubilee," he said.
With the nominations set for next month, Joho who is also the deputy party leader reaffirmed the party's commitment to conduct a free and fair exercise, a statement that was backed by ODM Secretary General Dr Agnes Zani who dismissed claims that the party has preferred candidates.
