Led by Kikuyu Member of Parliament, Kimani Ichungwa, the legislators said that Odinga’s ally, who is also the Suna East MP, supplied goods worth millions of shillings to the National Youth Service.

The MP who was speaking to Citizen at Nine on Tuesday said the two companies that were mentioned did not belong to him at the time he did business with NYS.

"I want to confirm to you that I don't own the two companies and I have evidence to that effect," he said.

"I never did business with NYS when I was the director of  one the companies," he added.

Junet also asked those in government to look for solutions to corruption problems facing the country rather that holding continuous baseless accusations.

He told the MP who accused him of looting hundreds of millions from the NYS to present their evidence to the relevant bodies rather than going to a press conference to lodge accusations against him.

"This is a government full of buffoonery, it is their responsibility to fight corruption and not our responsibility as the opposition," Junet said.

"If by any chance I'm corrupt, it is the responsibility of the government to carry out investigations and bring me to book," he added.
