Mwaura spoke to the media in Nakuru town today, blaming the fallout on the county speakers for bringing ‘strangers’ into the assembly.

Mwaura has further accused some MCAs of being bribed to withdraw their signatures on a motion to impeach Speaker Susan Kihika.

"Nobody was fighting because of me. The fight was as a result of dictatorial tendencies and selfishness by the leadership of the house. I had asked the speaker for a Kamukunji but she thumped on her chest saying those in my support will know her,” said Mwaura.

Mwaura has said that there is rampant bribery going on in the assembly in an attempt by the Speaker to maintain her position.

"Some greedy MCAs have been taken to a hotel Bogoria where they are being bought with as little as Sh10,000 and have their accommodation paid so as not to impeach the Speaker,” said Mwaura.

Efforts to reach the Speaker for comment were unfruitful though she has refuted these claims on many previous public forums.
