Mutua was speaking at Bomas of Kenya during the official launch of his Maendeleo Chap Chap movement in a mass moving speech.

The governor, who has in the past been applauded for massive development in Machakos County, said no one posted a card to request to be born in a particular place or ethic group.

"I did not send a post card so that I can be born a Kamba in Machakos" stated the governor.

Mutua also applauded the attendance of people from all parts of Kenya and different ethnic groups.

People raised placards written their counties such as Laikipia, Kiambu, Taita Taveta among many others.

Mutua also called upon the youths to join Maendeleo Chap Chap in his speech which began with the National anthem.

He was also joined by his wife in officiating the ceremony and they later held hands as they danced to the popular "Ebenezer" song by Angela Chibalonza.
