The ODM leader, who was campaigning in Gusii region on Thursday, insisted that political differences should not degenerate to insults and unnecessary abuses.

Odinga cited a recent example of Onyango Oloo, who he claims that he used to attack him before ditching Jubilee Party for ODM on Wednesday.

“I never hold political grudges and that has been my practice for many years. In politics, we should not get personal like some people do,” he said.

Odinga added: “Onyango Oloo used to be on the other side and you remember how he used to defend them. I am always ready to receive any politician from whichever camp who is ready to join us.”

He hinted of many defections ahead of this year’s elections adding that ODM will welcome all newcomers without prejudices.
