National Super Alliance Presidential candidate Raila Odinga has taken his campaigns to President Uhuru Kenyatta's Embu political backyard where he rebutted claims that he hates members of the Kikuyu community.

Speaking in Runyenjes, the former Prime Minister asked the locals to support his state house bid, Odinga promising to fix the economy and form an all-inclusive government.

"I supported Kibaki while I was aware that he was a Kikuyu.I am not tribal. I will cater for all people when I assume power," he said.

While commenting on Uhuru's decision to snub the presidential debate, Raila said that he was ready to face him and question what he had done for the people.

"I don't understand why Uhuru didn't attend the debate. I was ready for him and wanted to question what he has done to the people. The government is corrupt," Odinga said.

Odinga is keen to eat into Uhuru's support in the region that has 309,468 registered voters.
