Ndeti says that despite their political differences she regards Mutua as her  brother.

Speaking on Citizen TV’s Jeff Koinange Show on Wednesday, Ndeti said that she has nothing personal against the Maendeleo Chap Chap  (MCC) Party leader.

“Governor Mutua and I are good friends and he is like my  own brother," she said.

Ndeti however revealed that the only problem she has with the Machakos county boss  is that he has failed to champion the interests of Machakos people.

She added that governor Mutua is a person with a noble character but faulted him on matters development.

Ndeti claimed that Mutua’s government has been allegedly faking development projects to get the attention of locals and Kenyans at large.

The former Kathiani MP said that Machakos is not the same as the one being portrayed in the media as the best county in the country.

“Governor Mutua is a let-down to Machakos people because he has sidelined and denied them (locals) development.

Ndeti added that Mutua is thriving on propaganda and fake publicity to survive politically.

She said that much of the development projects Mutua claims to have achieved are non-existent.

The former MP said that her quest is to liberate Machakos people from Mutua’s propaganda and publicity rule. Ndeti is eyeing to send Mutua packing on Wiper Party ticket.

Others in the race to oust Mutua are deputy governor Bernard Kiala contesting as an independent candidate and Lemmy Muia vying on Jubilee Party ticket.

Mutua will be defending his seat on Maendeleo Chap Chap Party.
