Kuresoi South MP has said he does not need the endorsement from elders to become the Kuresoi MP.

This comes after a section of his opponents urged local elders not to 'bless' Cheruiyot to be the third time MP as he has already failed to deliver promises which he earlier made.

"Who said that there are elders who bless the people? It is only God who chooses the leaders he want and inspire the voters to vote for such leaders. Therefore, I do not need to be blessed by such leaders but only to be blessed by God," said the MP in Cheram Primary school during a political function.

He urged the voters to vote wisely next year and re-elect him to complete the development projects he has started.
