Ford Kenya leader and NASA principal Moses Wetang’ula has said he will not campaign to retain his seat in the August elections.

Speaking on Monday after he was cleared by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), Wetang'ula said he will leave the task to those seeking to be elected for MP.

“I don’t need to conduct any campaigns here to retain the seat. I will concentrate on campaigning for NASA throughout the country to ensure we send the corrupt Jubilee regime home,” Wetang’ula said.

This comes even after his closest competitor on an ODM ticket Bonny Nyongesa vowed to take on Wetang’ula as a competitor and not as NASA leader.

“Let him brace for a uphill task. This is going to be the mother of all battles. I’m sure I will trounce him,” he said.
