Speaking yesterday during the closing of a three-day Ramogi Cultural Festival and Reunion at Siungu beach in Siaya County, Raila said Jubilee leaders who are asking him to explain the whereabouts of the lost money from the company are only out to soil his name.

A section of Jubilee leaders from the Mumias sugar belt, have claimed that the former Premier owes the company Sh300 million, but Raila has insisted that he does not owe the mill a single cent and asked the government to table evidence.

The former Prime Minister said he will not be frightened into submission by the Jubilee’s propaganda to restrain him from speaking about corruption claims that has marred the government.

“Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto have realised that they have failed in addressing the issues affecting this country and they have instead turned to blaming others,” he said.

Raila also said he now needs the support of all Kenyans who want to see a better country through voting, and asked those who had not registered as voters to do so as a matter of urgency.

“Without the voting card, we will not win the war. Let everyone prepare,” he said.
