Kisii County Deputy Governor Joash Maangi has said that he has no regrets for joining Jubilee Party from Orange Democratic Movement.
Addressing the press at Kisii Sports club on Thursday, Maangi said that he has rights to chose his preferred party ahead of 2017 polls.
"My personal rights should not bother anyone. Being in Jubilee is a personal decision and should be treated as a private affair. Opponents should keep off discussing my political moves in all gatherings they attend,'he said.
"I chose Jubilee because it's development oriented. I realized being in opposition my people will not get development that is much need. Gusii l people should support Jubilee government for progressive development,"he added.
The ODM rebel member vowed to drum up support for Jubilee Party in Kisii region ahead of the 2017 elections.
