Athi river township member of county assembly Michael Mutua has expressed confidence in clinching the Mavoko member of parliament's seat in 2017.
"The youths from Mavoko and Mlolongo, the clergymen and the women have assured me of their full support and that is why they endorsed me to represent them in parliament next year," he told this writer when interviewed on Tuesday at Sunrise high school in Kinanie.
The Mca will be vying for Mavoko Mp seat in 2017 elections. He said he has better plans for the people of Mavoko.
"The residents of Mavoko are unsatisfied with the way the current Mp is undertaking his duties. He is so detached with the local people," he added.
Mr Mutua said he has served the people of Mavoko well as Athi river MCA and he urged the people of Mavoko to support him next year to become the area Mp so that he can continue with the good work that he started.
