President Uhuru Kenyatta has defended his track record saying that he has done more than his predecessors.
Uhuru singled our infrastructural progress across the country as major milestones in his five years in office adding that the government is intending to do more before this year’s elections.
He also outlined achievements in energy sector adding that at least all schools in the country and homesteads near schools had been connected with electricity.
“My government has probably done more than what my predecessors did for many years. We have expanded our infrastructures and our people can now transport commodities easily across the country,” he said.
“Many schools are now connected with electricity and even homesteads which are near. This is an achievement we cannot take for granted. We are intending to do more,” he added during Saturday’s address to the nation.
He urged young people to give opposition team a wide berth insisting that they were being misled to be against his government.
