Machakos Gubernatorial aspirant Wavinya Ndeti has said that she has no bad blood with the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) team ahead of the forthcoming general elections. 

Ndeti, who spoke after a court hearing that cleared her to contest for the seat, said her case if now gone, adding that she is ready to focus on her campaigns. 

She also thanked the residents of her county for the support they accorded her during this period.  “All this conflict is now in the past and I have forgiven IEBC, and I urge them to conduct a free and fair elections in August. I want to thank people of Machakos for standing strong with me,” said Wavinya as quoted by Citizen.  

On his part, Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka, also NASA Deputy President took a swipe at Machakos Governor Dr. Alfred Mutua and other leaders who attempted to frustrate Wavinya Ndeti as she sought to become the next governor of the area in August. “I am happy that we have crossed this bridge. Let us now concentrate in campaigning for all our candidates to win in August. Now we know who are being used,” said Kalonzo.
