Wanjohi said it was only wise for the people of Kiambu to vote where God has cast his vote.

“I want to assure you that God has cast his vote for me, and I only ask the people of Kabete to cast their votes on God's side too,” he said.

Wanjohi added, “I will give my heart to the people of Kabete and my shoulder for them to cry on as I complete the projects George Muchai started and work some more.”

He was speaking at the Wida Highway Motel where TNA ticket aspirants met with the party officials to be told the requirements of the nominations.

It is alleged that Wanjohi had a church in Namibia, and is a member of the Faith Evangelistic Ministry in Nairobi.

He is very spiritual in his conversations and life. He is also very popular among the locals and hopes to get the highest number of votes from the youth since he is the youngest aspirant.

Wanjohi is classified with Lewis Nguyai (former Kikuyu MP) as the top contenders for the Kabete parliamentary seat that was left vacant after the death of George Muchai.

Muchai died in a brutal shooting in the streets of Nairobi together with his driver and two bodyguards.
