A former Jubilee politician has dismissed claims that he has a personal grudge against deputy president William Ruto for rigging him out of the party's nominations.
Former Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth said he does not harbour any ill feelings towards the deputy president whom he linked to his flopped bid to fly the Jubilee flag in the Nairobi gubernatorial race saying he wishes him well."I dont have any grudge with him. All that is speculation that people have.On the contrary I really wish him well," he told JKL Live.Kenneth who had earlier folded his Kenya National congress (KNC) party to join Jubilee suffered a massive political setback after he lost to incumbent Nairobi senator Mike Sonko for the Jubilee ticket even as he blamed Ruto for elbowing him out.
He said the former Agriculture minister shortchanged him in the primaries in efforts to fix his 2022 ambitions.
He later opted to go for the seat as an independent candidate where he will be squaring it out with Sonko, incumbent governor Evans Kidero of ODM and fellow independent Miguna Miguna.
