Jomo Kenyatta Foundation chairman Walter Nyambati who has shown interest in the Nyamira gubernatorial seat on a Jubilee ticket says he has no issues with Charles Mochama who has joined the party.
Addressing the press during the opening of the Jubilee office in Nyamira, Nyambati said as a party, they have no issues with any person who has shown interest in joining it as they get ready for the general election in 2017.
“I have no issues with my brother Mochama who has joined us, we would like to welcome him to Jubilee party which is the winning team ahead of the general election," he said.
The former Kitutu Masaba MP also noted that the party's nominations will be free and fair when the right time comes and so there is no fear for those who want to join the party.
He also said they will support anyone who will be nominated during the nominations.
“Let us come together so that we can strengthen the party in Nyamira, we will support any candidate when we conduct our nominations," added Nyambati.
Mochama was present during the opening the new Jubilee Alliance Party offices who also said that Jubilee is that party to go.
A section of Nyamira MCAs led by the County Assembly Speaker Joash Nyamoko, who attended the event, vowed to work with Jubilee.
