ODM leader Raila Odinga has defended himself against President Uhuru Kenyatta who had accused him of empty politicking.
Speaking at his Capitol Hill office in Nairobi on Friday, Raila said that his revelations are not for a personal gain but for the gain of the people of Kenya’
“I have no reason to try and benefit from these revelations. I have serious concerns which I have to express because I am a leader of the people of Kenya,” he said.
The Cord co-principal said his revelations have a basis and that could be seen from the scandals that faced the NYS and the most recent one at the Health ministry.
“Facts will remain facts. We have talked about the scandal in the Ministry of Health and in NYS unless you live in another country, you will know that the President is trying to wish issues away,” added the former prime minister.
“If you have been listening to what has been going on in the Parliament this week, can you say that I am just involved in propaganda? If you can closely watch what is going on in the Ministry of Health can you say I am just involved in propaganda?” he asked.
