Kisii county Governor James Ongwae has said that he will keep supporting ODM since he was elected on the party ticket.
Addressing residents at Jogoo in Kisii during the re-opening of ODM office he said that he is still in ODM and he has no plans of going anywhere amidst the mushrooming of many lobby groups in the County.
“I was elected through ODM party so am in it to stay, now am not thinking about other parties am busy doing development projects," said Ongwae.
The County boss further advised residents to avoid being misled by the lobby groups which have come by the name of uniting the community by saying that the Gusii people are always united and they always love each other.
“I urge you that never be deceived we are always united and our love is always there when you don’t hear any comments about the lobby groups from me, don’t worry,” he said.
This comes after the Omogusii unity team lead by Senator Chris Obure who is also ODM chairman from Kisii county and Deputy governor Joash Maangi with other 8 MPs came together with an initiative of uniting the Community which Ongwae maintains are always united.
