Kisumu Nominated senator Joy Gwendo has dismissed claims that she is in talks with ODM party leader Raila Odinga, with intentions to decamp the Jubilee party.
She said she fully supports Jubilee party's agendas and that she has no intentions of leaving the party to ODM or any other Opposition party.
"Who said I want to leave Jubilee? I am not consulting anyone so as to leave Jubilee because I'm in Jubilee to stay,'' she said.
Gwendo who is a member of the Senate Committee on Education, Information and Technology, said being from the Luo community does not require her to support the Opposition.
"When you are from the Luo community, it does not mean you shouldn't be in Jubilee. It is good to be on the other side. If anything goes wrong in the other end, you remain standing,'' she said, Tuesday.
